We supply beautiful quality ‘dried’ or ‘freeze dried’ rose petal confetti bags ensuring that all your guests can take part and enjoy a well loved traditional part of your Wedding Day. Not all guests remember to bring wedding confetti or may bring paper confetti which isn’t permitted by some venues. By providing beautiful natural petal confetti, nothing is left to chance.
Throwing confetti over newly weds originated from the ancient pagan rite of showering the happy couple with grain to wish upon them a 'fruitful' union. Pagans believed that the fertility of the seeds would be transferred to the couple on whom they fell. The throwing of rice has the same symbolic meaning. The word confetti has the same root as the word confectionery in Italian and was used to describe 'sweetmeats' that is, grain and nuts coated in sugar that were thrown over newly weds for the same pagan reason. In recent years, small pieces of coloured paper have replaced sweetmeats, grain and nuts as an inexpensive substitute but the use of the word confetti has remained.
Throwing confetti also offers wonderful photo opportunities during your Wedding Day. Ushers can hand them out with the ‘Order of Service’ or leave them in a basket for guests to collect on the way out of the venue.
Our rose petals do not shed any colour, cause staining or slipping as they are 100% natural and biodegradable.
Most venues will only allow the throwing of natural petal confetti.
The advantage of buying your rose petal confetti in bags rather than cones is that you’re unlikely to lose any beforehand if it’s a windy day. They are far easier to display and hand out as the drawstring opening keeps the confetti secure until your photographer is ready!

Dried Rose Petal Confetti
Beautiful burgundy rose petals. They are small in size up to 1cm across and are totally natural, biodegradable and smell wonderful. The confetti will last for up to a year if kept at ambient temperature out of direct sunlight.
The bags contain approx 2 large handfuls (enough for 2 guests) and are only £1 per bag.
Dried Petals
Freeze Dried Rose Petal Confetti
We also stock the more expensive ’freeze dried’ rose petals. You don’t have to worry about them wilting or keeping them refrigerated like you would with fresh rose petals as freeze drying removes all the moisture from the petals, whilst still retaining their original size and colour.
If this confetti is stored at ambient temperature, out of direct sunlight it will last for up to 6 months, so you can buy your confetti well in advance of your Wedding. They also have a wonderful aroma. Our freeze dried petal confetti mix includes reds, ivory, pinks, burgundy’s and lilacs.
Each bag contains approx 1-2 handfuls and are only £2.50 per bag.

Confetti bags are made from fine sheer organza in white, so you can see the beautiful colours of the rose petals inside, they have a silky ribbon drawstring opening and enable easy access to the petals, measuring 4 x 5 inches.

First Class P&P is £3 for up to 10 bags and then an additional 10p per bag
